Brandon Brickner

Head of Internal Audit

Brandon joined SWIB in 2013 to lead SWIB’s Internal Audit Division, which is responsible for conducting independent audits, consulting projects, and continuous auditing/monitoring. Brandon also reports to and regularly presents key results to the Board of Trustees. Prior to joining SWIB, Brandon worked for the State of Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau for more than 15 years, most recently serving as an assistant financial audit director. During his time at the Audit Bureau, Brandon supervised and co-directed audits of both SWIB and the Department of Employee Trust Funds, along with several other state agencies and programs. Brandon is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
