Assets under management
- Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS): The largest portion of the assets managed by SWIB (about 93%)
is the trust funds of the WRS
serving more than 570,000 participants.
- State Investment Fund (SIF): About
6% is the SIF, a pool of cash balances of
the WRS various state and local governmental units.
- Five state trust funds: About 1% of the
total assets are other trusts funds invested by SWIB.
