Directions to SWIB

SWIB's offices are located in downtown Madison, near the Capitol Square. The receptionist is located on the first floor. Public parking is available on the right side of East Wilson St. directly across from the SWIB offices.

Dane County Airport

• Leave the airport on International Lane and go to the second set of stoplights.
• Turn left on to Packers Ave./Hwy 113.
• Stay on Packers Avenue/Highway 113 for approximately 2 miles.
• Move into the far left lane.
• Turn left on to Packers Ave./Hwy 113.
• Stay on Packers Avenue/Highway 113 for approximately 2 miles.
• Turn left at the stoplight onto First Street.
• Proceed two blocks to stoplight & turn right onto E. Washington/Hwy 151.
• Follow E. Washington Ave./Hwy 151for 1.5 miles.
• Turn left onto Butler St. & proceed two blocks to the stoplight.
• Turn right at the “yield” sign onto E. Wilson St. and proceed 2 blocks to the stoplights.
• Stay on E. Wilson St. which becomes one-way in the direction that you are traveling.
• Follow italicized parking directions below.

Highway 151 (Green Bay, Dubuque, Platteville)

• Follow Hwy 151South West toward the State Capitol.
• From the point where Hwy 151 crosses under I90/94, follow Hwy 151/E. Washigton Ave. for approximately 6 miles.
• Turn left on to Butler St. & proceed two blocks to the stoplight.
• Turn right at the “yield” sign onto E. Wilson St.
• Stay on E. Wilson St. which becomes one-way in the direction that you are traveling.
• Follow italicized parking directions below.

Interstate 90 (Chicago, Janesville, Beloit)

• Take Interstate 90 to the Hwy 12 & 18 (Beltline) exit to Madison.
• Take the John Nolen Drive exit off the Beltline.
• Follow John Nolen to the intersection with Williamson St./Wilson St.
• Turn left onto Wilson St. and go through one more stoplight.
• Follow italicized parking directions below.

Interstate 94 (Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Wausau)

• Follow Hwy 30 into Madison.
• Take the "State Capitol" exit off of Hwy 30; you will then be on Hwy 151/E. Washington Ave.
• Follow Hwy 151/E. Washington Ave. for approximately 3 miles.
• Turn left onto Butler Street & proceed two blocks to the stoplight.
• Turn right at the “yield” sign onto E. Wilson St.
• Stay on E. Wilson St. which becomes one-way in the direction that you are traveling.
• Follow italicized parking directions below.

Parking

• Move into the far left lane to prepare to turn left into the unmarked SWIB parking garage, located immediately after the silver-colored building with rounded balconies.
• The first 2 parking spaces on the right in the parking garage are reserved for SWIB visitors and are marked with signs.
• If a SWIB visitor parking space is available, you may park there.
• If a SWIB visitor parking space is not available, leave the SWIB parking garage turning left, and then immediately right into the Government East public parking garage on the corner of E. Wilson St. and Pinckney St.
